Aisha Jamila Hinds, an American actress best famous for her performances on the TV shows The Shield and True Blood. Since her 2003 debut, she has shown her acting versatility by giving outstanding performances in television series like 9-1-1 Detroit 1--8-7, and Under the Dome. The role she played as a character in Assault on Precinct 13 from 2005 was the first one to catch her interest. It was however her portrayal of feminist activist Fannie Louis Hamer from the biography film All the Way, which earned her the respect she was due as an actor. Hind is also being acknowledged for her performance in the role she played in the role of Harriet Tubman within WGN America's drama series set in the past called Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 9-1-1 was renewed for a third installment from 20th Century Fox Television. Hind has recently finished filming for the Hollywood feature Godzilla: King of the Monsters. The film is scheduled to release around the middle of 2019. The lucrative work she did with PepsiCo Inc. & Vogue magazine and the spokesmodel contract in partnership with L'Oreal Paris were all rewarded in 2003. Her acting career began well with her highly acclaimed performances as a lead in Iruvar (1997) and Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya (1997). Both of these films challenged the fundamental form that was prevalent in Bollywood films at the time and pushed Bachchan to the forefront of her own New Bollywood. With her heartbreaking portrayal as the betrayed lover Paro In Devdas (2002) an extremely popular Bollywood films and one of the first films to be screened during the Cannes Film Festival Bachchan cemented herself as the new Queen of Bollywood. In the following years, she was praised for her performance in the film Chokher Bali (2003) the intense film based on the novel of Rabindranathtagore. That following year, she was named the first Indian actress to be on the Cannes Film Festival Jury. Bachchan was in Gurinder Chadha's Bride and Prejudice a musical and dance adaptation to Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. Bachchan has brought her fame as well as her beautiful appearance to her major English film. Her return to Bollywood was to be seen in Dhoom: 2 2006 before she made Provoked A True Story (2006). Abhishek Bachchan was a frequent actor, and was the son of Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan. In April 2007, she tied the knot with her. The marriage united two powerful Bollywood personalities.
